Lovely ladies Z and Cinder are doing a blog challenge and anyone can join! Topic of week 33 is “Build your own achievement”. You can find other people’s posts on their website.
I have a love-hate relationship with achievements. I love getting them but some of them were just awful (looking at you, Children’s Week!). I’ve had ideas for really wacky and challenging achievements but I want to keep it easy and fun.
With the end of Legion, the factions are in conflict again and I’m not too excited about that. I trust Blizz that BAzeroth will be an awesome expansion and I will enjoy it but I would choose a different approach to factions going from Legion. I loved working with Horde mages in my class halls and with my achievement, I want to show my appreciation for Horde races.
You get “Peace on Azeroth” by emoting /bow, /bravo, /cheer, /comfort, /curtsey, /glad, /highfive, /kneel, /praise, /salute, /thank, /wave or /yay to every race of opposite faction. I’ve excluded emotes like /hug, /pat, /kiss and /blow because the idea of a random Hordie coming to me and hugging me or kissing me is slightly disturbing. Let’s respect everyone’s personal space but let’s show some love to everyone. We will need it in the trying times that are coming in BAzeroth.
N’aww, very sweet one 🙂 I’m not too excited about the war either. But I assume it has to happen for the story to go on.

I guess. And it won’t be the only story in BAzeroth so I’m sure I’ll still like the expac 🙂

I would do that achievement if it was in the game!
I like your choice of emotes to include — and exclude. I’d probably be most likely to use /cheer.

Thanks 🙂 I looked up a list of emotes and there were so many I’d never used! /cheer is good, I also like /bravo.
